The Indian dance Mohini group was created from the transformed M. Niernsee’s band Alapadma. Its dancers have been creating and performing together for the last 4 years. They go to India for regular workshops where they are trained by renowned masters such as Kapil Sharma or Pt Arjun Mishra and they improve their skills in classic Indian dance styles - Bharatanatyam and Kathak.

The repertoire of the group includes classic and half-classic choreographies which are based on Bharatanatyam and Kathak dance techniques, folk dance styles from various parts of India as well as typical Bollywood dance styles (film music dance) featuring elements of such dance styles as jazz, salsa or hip-hop. The group performed during various cultural festivals, company or charity events and TV shows (Kawa czy Herbata). The dancers are also the Bharatanatyam, Kathak and Bollywood dance instructors in many Warsaw dance studios. They run regular workshops in many Polish cities. Classes in classic dance are accompanied by traditional Indian instruments: tabla and mridangam and they not only aim at passing the knowledge about dance, movement or music but also about the culture of India.
