She was student of vocal studies at Faculty of Jazz in the State Jazz School in Warsaw under the mentoring of Ewa Bem and Izabela Zając. She has been performing and recording music with her group Marita Albán Juárez & Latin Jazz Band that consist of the basis Maciek Szczyciński and Marita's brother - drum pleyer José Manuel. They both are responsible also for composing.
