The group was founded in 2007. It deals not only with organising training courses and workshops of capoeira angola but also with promoting Afro-Brazilian culture and organising workshops and projects focused on education. The group was founded by Maciej Różalski, a graduate and collaborator of Centre for Theathre Practicies 'Gardzienice', after his return from Salvador in Bahia state, Brasil.
The group consists of artists and culture animators interested in promoting the idea of interculturalism in Warsaw as well as in self-development.
Among the locations the workshops take place is Pracownia Wschodnia (30/32 Lubelska St).
