Stephano Sambali known as DJ Steve comes from Tanzania. He came to Poland in the early 90’s. After graduating from School of Polish for Foreigners in Łódź he moved to Warsaw where he was elected for the secretary of an association gathering Tanzanian students. He has also cooperated with African Student Union in Poland. The Union has become known thanks to organizing such events as African Culture Days. Steve participates in organizing cultural events presenting traditions, music, art and cuisine popular in various regions of Africa.
He is also a music journalist, cooperates in leading radio programmes in Radio PIN. He is also and active club DJ, promoting ethnic African music. He is also the coordinator for English speaking foreigners on Afryka.org platform belonging to Africa Another Way Foundation.
