A social activist. Born in Hanoi, a graduate of the Higher school of Economics and Banking in Hanoi. She came to Poland in 1991 and started living in Warsaw, where she has opened her own business (insurance and real estate trade). She is well known from her political and social involvement concerning the Vietnamese people in Poland. Mạc Việt Hồng was a co-organizer of two demonstrations against Chinese hegemony towards Vietnam organized in Warsaw. She is a chief editor of the Vietnamese newspaper Dan Chim Viet (A bevy of Vietnamese birds).
