Shalom Foundation is an American-Polish-Israeli organisation founded in 1988 by Gołda Tencer - an actress and a director of Ester Rachel Kamińska and Ida Kamińska State Jewish Theatre. The main aim of the Foundation is to preserve Jewish culture and heritage.
The headquarters of the Foundation is located in the buildinh of Jewish Theatre on Grzybowski Square. The name - Shalom - refres to the Hebrew greeting meaning 'peace'.

The Foundation organizes a Jewish culture festival known under the name 'Warszawa Singera' (Singer's Warsaw) and has initiated Centrum Kultury Jidisz (Centre for Yiddish Culture).
