Another, fourth to date, event from People From The Continent series aiming to present artists form ethnic and national minorities as well as immigrant communities, takes place on 31st October in Powiększenie club. This time it is AFRICAN WARSAW and artists presenting their painting are Tobia Taddele Gebre Hiwot (Ethiopia) and Seydou Zan Diarra (Mali). Among other highlights in the programme are: presentation of poetry by Mamadou Diouf, dance performances and workshops, concerts, ethnic cuisine. After the doube vernissage Mamadou Diouf (Senegal/Poland) presents his poetry as well as drum workshops by Mohamed 'Gasparda' Conde (Congo) are open to anyone interested in.
The promotion of the novel 'Stadium. The Devil's Playground' (Stadion. Diabelskie igrzyska) by Ify Nwamana (Nigeria) and the encounter with the author as well as the discussion panel about African art and its influence on European art based on the example of works by Pablo Picasso are also in the programme of the event. There are also African dance shows and workshops, ethnic cuisine and Afro rhythms DJ party by DJ Steve and Grajek Krawiec.

The detailed programme of the event:

The ground floor – from 4.00 p.m.:
- the double vernissage of painting by African artists: Tobia Taddele Gebre Hiwot (Ethiopia) and Seydou Zan Diarry (Mali)
- poetry by Mamadou Diouf (Senegal/Poland)
- drum workshops by the master Mohamed 'Gasparda' Conde (Guinea)
- stalls of organisations promoting Africa
- the presentation of African cuisine - Cafe Baobab, including Afro-Arab green tea

The basement – from 4.45 p.m.:
- pictures from Africa slide-show
- the promotion of the book 'Stadium. The Devil's Playground' (Stadion. Diabelskie igrzyska) by Ify Nwamana (Nigeria) and the encounter with the author

- Afro rhythms DJ party by DJ Steve (Tanzania) and Grajek Krawiec (Poland).
