New Year takes place in February!
Club Radio Luxembourg will become a meeting place for the two culutres of reach tradition and symbols - Chinese and Indian, on Friday, 8th February. It will be a place where can be met both the cultures together and at the same time – each of them separetely.
Beacuse it is the time of celebrations, fun, carnival - an event is a New Year's dress party which may be insired by Indian and Chinese traditions. According to Chinese lunar calendar – with the day 7th February 2008 the New Year, The Year of the Rat, begins. It is celebrated for 15 another days. The element for The Year is Earth so the year 2008 is also called The Year of the Brown Rat.
In similiar time another great festival, which is called Saraswati Puja, is celebrated in India. It is the fastival dedicated to Saraswati - goddess of knowledge and art (especially of music).

  • stalls with crafts, books, music, films - Chinese and Indian
  • New Year's cakes with presages
  • DJ party with best Asian music sets - DJ DON
