Afro Dance Festival soon in Warsaw! In October 2016 We gonna hit Warsaw with Sabar dance. Join the best sabar dance workshop with live music drums from Senegal and come to see why it is so easy to get crazy about this dance, music and culture from West Africa!

You have never known what is sabar? You have never heard about sabar? It means you never experienced crazy dance for real :) Uncountable rhythms, unpredictable steps, loud and mad drum music and you - free to start control steps and body movement with the chaos. Last year Diene Sagna and Amadou Fola showed Us some little part of the sabar thing and we know you were very happy about it, so this year we are excited to invite you for the Afro Dance Festival which will focus on sabar rhythms culture and dance technique only.

ABOUT SABAR DANCE: Sabar is a drum, a dance and an umbrella term for a variety of rhythms. It has been growing in popularity in the African music and dance scene. The dance is significantly different to other styles; it consists of combinations that are less weighted to the ground and incorporates lots of hip twisting, swings and jumps. It is a dance of expression that uses every part of the body, from the arms and legs to the head and eyes. Sabar dance is now extremely popular in the USA with large classes and theatre groups in New York, Chicago and California. Popularity is also spreading across Europe with artists and groups teaching and performing in Spain, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Sweden and Finland.
