The main aim of the Polish Carrom Association is popularization of different variants of carrom games, especially among children and teenagers but also adults. We organize shows, workshops and carrom tournaments. The Polish Carrom Association is a member of the European Carrom Confederation, which supports promotion of this game in Europe.
Carrom, which is popularly called a Hindu billiard, is a game of many centuries tradition, a mix of billiard, snooker and caps. It's a game for 2 or 4 people. The players sit at the board game, and the goal of this game is to put wooden pucks of the player's colour before someone else does it. Carrom is a stategy and skill game which require patience, carefulness and logic. It's an amazing form of spending free time for everyone as an alternative of computer games and television.
