Strefa WolnoSłowa was established on the initiative of people involved in theatre, literature, photography, organization of animation activities, cultural and artistic events, writing about theatre, film and travels.
We aim to organize artistic, cultural and educational programs focused on intercultural and intergenerational dialogue. We are interested in initiatives on the border of art and social intervention dealing with current problems in Poland, Europe and the world.
Through international art projects, interdisciplinary activities and initiatives involving refugees and immigrants living in Poland we act for intercultural dialogue, European integration and human rights.
We are interested in the advancement of knowledge in the field of human rights, analysis of current events in the world, as well as exploring new innovative methods of cultural animation and multicultural education. Because of this we also engage in research, public awareness campaigns and conferences.
Strefa WolnoSłowa is a member of Transeuropa Network and also acts as a local group of the international organization European Alternatives.
