The “NEVER AGAIN” Association and Grupa Anty-Nazistowska (Anti-Nazi Group) engage in tackling social problems: racism, neo-fascism, xenophobia and intolerance. Their mission is to promote multiculturalism and respect for diversity.
The association was established in 1996 on the initiative of informal youth group – Grupa Antynazistowska (GA) which operated since 1992.
Today, the “NEVER AGAIN” Association is an organization specialized in the monitoring of racism that has gained a reputation in Poland and abroad. Thanks to their work a successful campaign was launched in 1996 which resulted in including the ban on fascist and racist organisations to the Constitution of the Republic of Poland (Article 13).
The association's initiatives are among other things: “Brunatna Księga” (“Brown Book”) - conducted for many years, documentation of incidents of racist and xenophobic violence and crimes committed by neo-fascists and extreme political right activists; Information Centre – co-operation with the media; „Wykopmy Rasizm ze Stadionów” (“Let's Kick Racism Out of the Stadiums”) - a program directed especially to football fans as well as football players, coaches, activists and football journalists; „Muzyka Przeciwko Rasizmowi” (“Music against Racism”) - thanks to performers of different genres of music the association transmits its message to hundreds of thousands of listeners; „R@cism-Delete” Programme – actions against racism on the Internet.
The “NEVER AGAIN” Association is open to partnership co-operation with everyone who does not accept xenophobia and neo-fascism.
