Fundacja Ochrony Dziedzictwa Żydowskiego (Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage) aims to protect and commemorate the surviving monuments of Jewish cultural heritage in Poland (including synagogues and cemeteries). Among the aims of the Foundation are:
  • restitution of the property belonged to former Jewish communities - like synagogues, cemetries and other properties of special religious or historical as well as social, charity or educational significance,
  • managing returned properties,
  • protection of the buildings of unusual religious and historical importance.
