Polish-Tibetan Friendship Association has been active since 1989. The main aim of the Association is to provide information about Tibet and also to promote culture and history of the region as well as knowledge of human rights also in the context of Tibet.

Members of the Association undertake activities which aim is to help to solve the problem of Tibet in a pacific way and to respect human rights in Tibet.

 

The Association cooperates with Tibetan migrant organizations in Poland as well as Polish and international non-government organizations such as Amnesty International, Klub Gaja, Students for a Free Tibet, Tibetan Center for Human Rights and Democracy. It is also a member of International Tibet Support Groups Network.

One of its activities is educational programme and members of the Association participate in various conferences, meetings and lectures.

 

 

Polish-Tibetan Friendship Association also runs the Internet service at www.ratujtybet.org which provides the most important information about Tibet, news and informs about activities for Tibet all over the world.
