He comes from Jerez de la Frontera, a city located in a south part of Andalusia, commonly thought to be the cradle of flamenco music. It is believed that artists from that place can fell and share the joy of their music (por fiest styles), as well as sadness and the pain of exsistence (jondo styles - serious and deep).
Rubin de la Ana was brought in a family, in which flamenco and making music was present on a daily basis. He decided to start a professional artistic career early. Today he's an artist with a wide experience and he performed with such celebrities like Manolete or Pepe de Lucia.
