He was born in Cuba, Havana. He has been making music with his family and friend at the same time gaining eperience and developing his amazing vocal talent. He is a distinguished singer and arranger of harmonic sollutions both instrumental and vocal. He also play the guitar and compose. He graduated from music school in bass department.
Thanks to experience which Renell has gained through cooperation with the best "Trios" in Cuba (three-person bands singing part-songs with the accompanient of guitars and bongos), his knowledga about boleros is irreplaceable. His life, both music and private, means a lot of travels. That is how he found his way to Poland, where he decided to stay. He plays with salsa band "Calle sol", and he recorded music for Paulina Przybysz. He'a a leader of Son de Cuba band, the first Trio in Poland playing traditional music son.
Thanks to his dark timbre he perfectly accompanies Magda and create unusual vocal duet with her. He is the second voice (after Magda) in Noche de Boleros. The album also includes song "Amor" writen by Renell.
As an arranger, instrumentalist, vocalist and art director he creates Trio Sol Cuba in Havana, which he has been performing with for 7 years in the most famous Cuban bar - "La Bodeguita de Medio". (Bodeguita is a favourite place of Hemingway).
Sol Cuba is an ambassador of son music beyond the border of the island and he gives concerts in Guatemala, Liban, Mexico, Italy and Poland.
Now he sings in Noche de Boleros group.
