Raynel Fernandez Ballester has brought from Cuba not only a perfect dance technique but also joy of life which, according to him, is one of the curcial factors in good dancing. He is an instructor of casino (Cuban salsa), rumba, reggaeton and hip hop. Raynel was born and brought up in the district Centro Habana Los Sitios which is named the heart of rumba of Habana. It is rumba and other Afro-Cuban dances that became his way of living.
Raynel worked with many great Cuban choreographers in famous cabaret, theatres and hotels of the island, among them:
  • Cabaret Tropicana – where he worked with choreographer Santiago Alfonzo;
  • Cabaret Internacional en Varadero – with maestro Andres Gutierres;
  • Cabaret Salon Rojo del Hotel Capri – with Tomas Morales as a choreographer.
As a dancer and choreographer he performed in many Cuban theatres such as Teatro Julio Antonio Mella, Gran Teatro de la Habana Garcia Lorca, Teatro America, Teatro Antonio Maceo, Teatro Nacional.
Besides, among dance groups he colabotared with were: Estilo Fantástico (jazz dance, sherdaon, break dance), Estilo Salvaje (merengue, salsa, columbia, Afro-Cuban folklore, ballet, modern dance), Isla Azul, Cabaret Continental, Hello Habana, Benny Moré, Cubatabay, Suenos Mágicos.

He first came to Poland in 2006 and since then he has provided many workshops in schools like SHO, Slasa Libre, Akademia Tańca Tomasza Potockiego, SalsaKings. He also cooperated with music groups like Rei Ceballo & Calle Sol, Trio Son.
