Aka-Chukwu (full name in Polish: Afrykańskie Przedsięwzięcie Edukacyjno-Artystyczne Aka-Chukwu) was created by a Nigerian, John Enemuo. The members of this association are black musicians and dancers living in Poland. It was inspired by a passion to music and dance and openness for sharing this cultural heritage. Their music is performed with usage of traditional African instruments such as abia (drums), ichaka (shakers), ogene (cow bells), udu (a type of a playing pot).

Aka-Chukwu was founded in 2007. Since then they have been touring around Poland with concerts and drum workshops as well as organised verious cultural events including African music and jam sessions.
