She was born in Moscow in a family of artistic traditions. Her mother, Katia Sokołowa-Zyzak, is an miscellaneous artist while her grandfather, Mihail Sokolov, a well known landscape artist. She deals with the photography.
She is also interested in history and she has worked for the portal Reenacting.eu since 2006, creating photo galleries from the events related to the reconstruction of historic events.
She presented her photo exhibition 'Metro Moskwa' (Moscow Underground) at the event 'Warszawa Rosyjska' (Russian Warsaw) from the series 'Ludzie z Kontynentu' (People from the Continent) promoting artists from minorities and immigrant communities.
