Acilyz comes from the town of Barranquilla in Colombia. After coming in 2006 to Poland, she has been working as a dance and dance instructor of Afro-Columbian dances such as cumbia, mapale, puya, carnaval de Barranquilla, joropo. Besides, she is specialised in dances like reggaetón, merengue, champeta, bachata. In the yeras 1997-2006 sha was a soloist of National Ballet of Colombia and in 2003-2006 was also a soloist of Los Alfa 8 de Colombia - a Cuban-Colombian music-dance group performing tropical rhythms like reggaetón, merengue, champeta i bachata.
She works as a dancer and dance instructor at Salsa Libre dance school.
