An actress and a director of the Ester Rachel Kaminska Jewish Theatre in Warsaw and also the founder of Shalom Foundation. She was born in 1949 in Łódź in a Jewish family and her father was Szymon Tencer. She graduated from Theatre Studio at the Jewish Theater as well as cultural studies at University of Warsaw. She is well known not only for her roles in plays that belong to the classical Yiddish repertoire but also for her interpretation of songs. She is found a great interpreter of dramatic presentations of Gebirtig, Manger and of anonymous authors of popular songs.
