The Japanese restaurant So-an, which is called "Susharnia" by its frequent visitors, is one of the few places in Warsaw where you feel as good as if you were at your best friends'. There is no conceitedness and no sulky waitresses! Young, smiling and energetic people are really happy to welcome each and every new guest in their restaurant. The great staff is really the highlight of the place.
The menu in So-an is, however, noteworthy, too. If you are a sushi gourmet, you are going to drop by often. If you, however, are just planning to start your sushi adventure - just come to SUSHARNIA. The fish is always of the best quality and the rice has a fabulous taste. The menu offers many different sushi sets, so that everyone can find something for him- or herself.
For sesoned sushi experts there is a wide variety of sushi maki to choose from. You can eat Ebiten maki - maki with a shrimp which is fried in tempura or maki with roast butterfish. Worthy of notice are also the sashimi sets (pieces of raw fish and seafood). The portions are considerable and a good value, and to boot served in quite an artistic manner.
So-an offers a wide choice of theJapanese meals served warm, which are not very well-known. In the menu you will find chicken served in a sweet Japanese sause and scattered with sesame (Wakadori Teriyaki) or a spicy chicken, filled with garlic and served with oranges (Wakadori Misakatsu). There is also SHOGAYAKI, thin slices of pork pickled in an ginger sauce, as well as Japanese sesame dumplings filled with pork – SHUMAI.
