Synagogue of hassids form Chabad-Lubavitch was established in Warsaw in December 2005 on the initiative of hassids from Chabad-Lubavitch, concentrated in the Chabad Lubavitch of Poland. The religious house is a part of the Jewish Centre, where yeshiva, kosher restaurant, library and mikveh are also held.
Chabad Lubavitch in Poland is represented by the Chai Foundation. The Foundation's statutory activities are: educational, cultural and religious activities, as well as activities for the Jewish community.
The Chabad Lubavitch Movement came into being 250 years ago as a faction of hassidism (Hebrew - hassid means pious). For more than 100 years the centre of the Movement was Lubavitch - a city of brotherly love - in today's Belarus.

The word 'chabad' is an acronym for the Hebrew words related to the intellectual virtues. Chachma - wisdom, bina - understanding, and da'at - knowledge.

The current rabbi of the synagogue is Szalom Dov Ber Stambler. Services take place every day, during Sabbaths and holidays
