Turkish cultural centres are established in many countries in the whole world where the Turkish culture is not present. TheYunus Emre Turkish cultural centre in Poland started operating in Warsaw, in November 2012.
The Turkish Cultural Centre of Warsaw organises Turkish language courses on all levels, courses of traditional ottoman music, workshops of Ebru art, courses on ottoman calligraphy and meetings of the oriental cuisine's afficionados. The Centre also organises concerts of artists who represent various types of the Turkish music, simposia, conferences, exhibitions of photography and painting and monthly film shows in which multiple award winning Turkish films are projected. The series of film evenings will take place in the Kino Muranow cinema, in December. At the seat of the Centre in Warsaw, you can already sign up for the courses and workshops.
