Student Scientific Group for African Research (Studenckie Koło Naukowe Afrykanistyczne) was founded in 2006 in the Warsaw School of Economics (Szkoła Główna Handlowa w Warszawie - SGH). The main aim of the Group is to achieve and promote the knowledge about Africa, first of all among the students and pupils.
Among the main activities undertaken by the members of the Scientific Group are:
* Organising meetings 'Learn Africa' (Poznaj Afrykę) taking place every in the Warsaw School of Economics. The topics of the meetings are focused on economy, culture, news, society etc.
* Organising scientific meetings, seminars, conferences, workshops as well as events related with Africa.
* Managing the website of the Group on the portal Afryka.org.
* Cooperation with other student organisations founded within the Warsaw School of Economics.
* Organising integrating events.
* Lobbing for positive image of Africa in Poland.
