Centre is a scientific institution focused on social and cultural issues. It's been located in Warsaw School of Social Psychology since 2005. It deals with teaching Oriental languages – Chinese and Burmese and also providing information about culture and everyday life in China, Burma, Vietnam. There has been also possibility of studying Oriental languages at Language School since the academic year 2005/06. There can be studied: Chinese at three year course, Burmese at a year course, Japanese at three year course. They are dedicated for everyone willing to study the languages.

The Centre also organizes 'Asian soirées' which involve meetings, discussions, films about East Asia. There are available books and other publications about the region.
