The Association was created in 1936 and after an interval in its activity was reactivated in 1972. French language courses and workshops focused on culture are run and since 2004 the magazine under the name 'Francuski łącznik' (French connection) is published. Among the aims of the Association are:
  • To develope friendship between Polish and French nations and undertaking activities promoting mutual cooperation.
  • To present French social life as well as history, science, culture, traditions, acheivments in the field of economy and technology etc. in Poland.
  • To present the history of Polish-French cooperation.
  • To promote Polish social life as well as history, science, culture, traditions, acheivments in the field of economy and technology etc. in France.

The Association has its departments in Cracow, Łódź, Poznań and Gdynia.
