Simba Friends was founded by a Kenyan, James Ofwona, and by a Hungarian, Balazs Csepregi. The aim of the Foundation is to support children and youth of pathological families for them to make possible their education and development. Besides, intercultural exchanges and the idea of tolerance are promoted.

The Foundation cares about improving skills and interests of children and about equalizing chances in access to education. Together with a group of volunteers, Simba Friends Foundation has developed and implemented various programmes for youth and children. The actions, events, and projects build self esteem of the beneficiaries and show them how to use their potential.
Simba Friends' volunteers carry out workshops for children in Warsaw's primary schools which aim is to develop children’s and youth’s creativity, to discover own talents and to gain new, interesting skills:
  • Workshops With Simba involve group activities like art and technical classes, model making and many more,
  • Fairylike Evenings are meetings with books,
  • Green Screen is programme of IT classes, which aim is to make kids familiar with the basis of operating the computer,
  • Homework Emergency is providing help in doing homework,
  • Village of Friendship is the project of exchanging the correspondence between Polish and Kenyan children (in English).

Anyone can become a Simba Frieds' volunteer - to share one's hobby and skills with others.
