Tajfuny is an Asian bookstore located in the centre of the Warsaw. We can find there books about Japan, Korea, China and Singapore. The majority of the books is in English but we can also find some in Polish, Korean or in Japanese. The bookstore offers the wide choice of books that includes both fiction and non-fiction, comic books and magazines. You can get familiar with the whole offert on the bookstore's website, where everyone who is interested in this topic can find something special.
Tajfuny is something more than the bookstore - it's a project that is still developing. It's worth following and getting to know with its blog and podcast. You can find there a lot of interesting things and take a look on Asia from the different perspective.
Tajfuny is also the publishing company, and thanks to it, the Polish can get familiar with the work of the less known writers.
Tajfuny is also the community, which you can join by, for example, taking part in meetings organised by the Tajfuny Book Club. During the meeting we have a discussion about some particular titles. Moreover, on Facebook are often organised the live transmissions and if you want, you can have a talk with people who create the Tajfuny. You can also find there some pieces of information about the redaction news or special events like fairs (also the thematic ones, during which you can buy for example the Asian cookbooks). What is more, the bookstore's Instagram is worth following - it's written in English and Polish, you can see there photos of the covers and descriptions of the particular books. Everything is uploaded regularly so as you can be up to date.
The booksellers speak Polish, English, Italian and elementary Japanese.
