Centrum Badania i Nauczania dziejów i kultury Żydów w Polsce im. Mordechaja Anielewicza (Mordechaj Anielewicz Centre for Research and Study of Jewish history and culture in Poland) was founded in 1990 based on the agreement signed between Warsaw Unversity and Jack Fiderbaum Foundation. It is a part of Institute of Historical Research at Warsaw University. The founder of the Centre was professor Jerzy Tomaszewski who also managed it until 2001. The Centre provides classes 'History of Polish Jews' dedicated for studens of history though also available for students of other faculties. The programme of the classes involves Hebrew and yiddish languages courses.

Besides, there have been available classes in English - 'Warsaw Program for Jewish Studies' - since 2006.
