Centrum Inicjatyw Międzykulturowych (Centre for Intercultural Initiatives) is an organisation founded by students of ethnology at Warsaw University which aims to helping refugees with gaining refugee status, make the recognition in new, Polish reality, finding a job, entering Polish system of education, make them feel self-esteem thanks to organizing various activities.

The idea of founding the Centre emerged during winter of 2006 when students took part in various ethnic events where they met refugees and their reality and problems.
Among the activities organized are Polish language classes as well as courses of foreign languages, homework assistance for children, sport activities, games.
Volunteers always welcome.
