Athlete and dancer coming from central Africa. He was born in Kinshasa - the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo. His father is from the province of Bandundu and mum is from Bas-Congo. Except Lingala and French language they also use other languages - Kikongo and Kikongo ya leta. Thanks to that, Gigya also speaks fluently many languages, including Polish.

He arrived to Poland in 2006 in connection with the development of his playing career. He currently plays in Grójec.
Apart from sport Gigya is occupied with dance - he is a professional dancer of African styles and Brazilian samba. He cooperates a.o. with Danca Brasil Uanga school.
