Mo was born in Beijing. She has been very passionate about singing since being 12 and it's been already a few years that she has been developing her vocal under the supervision of her private music teacher.

Mo performs mainly R&B and soul and among her music idols are Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey and Kelly Clarkson.
