Dawid Pataraja is an artist and painter, born in 1971 in Georgia. He studied in High School of Fine Arts of Jakob Nikoladze in Tbilisi and after finishing it in 1990 he continued his education at Faculty of Graphic Arts at Academy of Fine Arts. His mentors were Gogi Ceretelli, David Uruszadze and Tamaza Czchaidze. After coming to Poland in 1992, he continued his studies at Faculty of Graphic Arts at Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw as well as Faculty of Painting at Academies in Poznań and Cracow.
