The cementary was consecrated in April 1792. It is the first necropolis designed by the architect Szymon Bogumił Zug. During the wars and national uprisings, intense fighting took place at the cementary. Among other notable people, Emil Wedel and Samuel Bogumił Linde are buried here.  Evangelical Cementary of the Augsburg Confession
