The association Students for a Free Tibet Poland was officially founded on February 13, 2013 in the 100th anniversary of Proclamation of Independence of Tibet. It is supported solely from the members' fees and engagement. It has its statute. It was founded by people who have much experience related to the situation of Tibet. We are trying to keep the formalities to the minimum and to make decision in the most democratic way which would take into account the diversity of the Tibet movement. We are the national SFT net in Poland recognized by the SFT International. We are the member of International Tibet Network – the international coalition of organisations acting worldwide for the benefit of Tibet.

Our goal is to protect universally recognized human rights in Tibet, including the Tibetan people's right to respect for their political, cultural, religious independence and environmental protection in Tibet.
The Association pursues its objectives by:
- Participation in international peacekeeping campaigns and actions for Tibet.
- Publicizing human rights violations in Tibet and China.
- Cooperation with the international movement Students for a Free Tibet and other organizations with similar goals in Poland and in the world.
- Promoting the direct involvement of young people in grassroots activities without the use of violence for social change.
- A non-profit publishing, popularization, meetings, cultural events, meetings, demonstrations.
SFT Poland has a male and female representative - acting together on behalf of and representing SFT Poland. Representatives are elected for two-year term.
SFT representative of Poland is Sonam, she was born in Tibet, she has been living in Poland for six years and plans to finish her medical studies here, in the SFT Poland she is responsible for contacts with the community of Tibetan.
SFT representative of Poland is Piotr Cykowski, a longtime activist for human rights in Tibet, co-founder and associate NGOs multiculturalism, human rights and anti-discrimination.
