Żydowskie Centrum Wolontariatu Ben Adam Lechawero (Jewish Voluntary Centre Ben Adam Lechawero) deals with building and developing the network of volunteers within the Jewish Communities Union in the Republic of Poland. It was created in 2004 thanks to the cooperation between Commission for Social Care within Jewish Community of Poland and German Zentralwohlfahrtsstelle der Juden in Deutschland (ZWST).
The Hebrew name 'Ben Adam Lechawero' means 'Between a human and his companion'.

Among the aims of the Centre are:

• to inform about the possibilities of providing help,
• to recruit volunteers willing to work for Jewish Social Care,
• to prepare volunteers to the specificity of the work within the Jewish community,
• to cooperate with other organisations and volunteers in Poland and all over the world.

Office opening hours:

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 9.00 a.m. - 1.00 p.m.
• Thursday: 2.00 p.m. - 5.00 p.m.
