Polish-Iranian Friendship Association was founded 3rd April and the same year it was registered as an association. The Association is an organization gathering mainly young people interested in culture, history of Iran and contemporary situation of the country.

The inspiration for establishing such an association was the interest in the country which has existed for over 2 500 years and its history has involved three empires. The inspiration was also the contemporary history of Iran.

The aim of the Association is to deepen friendly Polish-Iranian relations thanks to providing information about Persian culture, history and achievements of Iranian culture, economy and politics.
