Poland-Estonia Association was established 3rd January 1992 after regaining the independence by the country. The founder was a group of people who find themselves friends of Estonia and in this way wanted to celebrate Estonia's independence. Poland-Estonia Association continues activities and follows the aims of Polish-Estonian Association which was founded in 1930. The members of Poland-Estonia Association are mainly teachers, science workers, lawyers, businessmaneconomists, journalists, students and pupils from all over the Poland. But everyone willing to participating in realizing its aims can become a member of the Association. The aims are:
creating and developing good relations, cooperation and friendship between the two countries and two societies
creating a good background for economic, scientific, cultural and tourism cooperation
organizing and supporting Polish-Estonian exchanges
developing open contacts between families, groups of friends, colleagues as well as villages, towns and cities
promoting the reliable knowledge about both Poland and Estonia
