Kuźnia Wschodnia (Eastern Forge) Association was founded at the end of 2004 by graduates of Eastern Europe Faculty at Warsaw University. Officially, as an association it was registered in April 2005. The Organization gathers people of various education and interests but what they have in common is their passion about East. The main aim of the Association is to work for popularizing the knowledge of various subjects connected with countries from the former Soviet Union. Thanks to its activities the Association promotes subjects focused on the present actuality of the East part of Europe and also provides information about history, culture and everyday life of Eastern regions.
