Czech Centre has been present in Warsaw for 50 years. By this time the Centre has become a place that a lot of people having some connections with the Czech Republic are attached to. Czech Centre activities involve organizing and supporting cultural events and also providing information what is the necessary complement of Czech diplomatic institutions in Poland.

The main aim of Czech Centre is to present Czech culture: there are organized exhibitions, music concerts, soirées, theatre plays, lectures and others programmes to promote the culture. Besides cultural events, the way of promoting the Czech Republic is to provide information about the tourism (the programme of promoting the country is realizes in cooperation with Czech Centre for Tourism Movement). There are also organized Czech language courses at various levels and there is run the Library in the Centre.
